Privacy Policy

What you give us. When you use the contact form or the Partner Access form we collect your name, email address, your message and, depending on the form, your company, a budget band or your expected volume. If you email or call us we keep that correspondence. We do not ask for payment details on this site.

What our hosting records. Like any website, our hosting and content-delivery provider processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so the site loads and stays secure.

This site does not use advertising or analytics trackers and does not set cookies (see the Cookies page).

We use personal information to:

• reply to your enquiry and book a free discovery call;
• prepare a scope, quote or proposal and deliver the work you ask for;
• send invoices, keep records and meet our legal and tax obligations;
• keep this website secure and working.

We rely on your consent, which you give by submitting a form, and on what is needed to respond to you and perform a contract with you. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.

We reply to enquiries you send us. We will not add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to. If we ever send commercial email, it will comply with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL): it will say who we are and include a working unsubscribe link.

We share personal information only with providers that help us run the business, and only as much as they need:

• Form delivery. Messages from the site’s forms pass through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a service that forwards them to our inbox at info@mediawiz.ai.
• Hosting and delivery. Our website host and content-delivery provider.
• Email and business tools. The email, accounting and project tools we use to run engagements.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Some of our providers operate outside Canada, including in the United States, so your information may be processed and stored there and may be accessible to courts and authorities under the laws of those countries. We choose providers that protect information appropriately.

Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to 24 months so we can pick the conversation back up, then deleted. Client project records are kept for the life of the relationship, and invoices and financial records for six years, which is the period Canadian tax rules generally require. After that we delete or anonymise them.

The site is served over HTTPS, forms are protected against abuse, and access to our inbox and tools is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send passwords or payment card numbers through the forms.

You can ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw your consent, or ask us to delete it (subject to records we must keep by law). Write to our privacy contact at info@mediawiz.ai and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca). If you live elsewhere, you may have additional rights under your local law, and we will honour them where they apply.

This site is for businesses and creators. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant we will tell people who have contacted us.
