Terms of Service
Last updated 18 October 2026
These terms cover your use of this website and the general basis on which MediaWiz Co. (“MediaWiz”, “we”, “us”) takes on work. By using the site you agree to them.
A signed proposal or statement of work takes precedence over anything on this page where the two differ.
Using this site
The site is provided as-is for information. Please do not misuse it: no scraping, probing for weaknesses, overloading it, or sending unlawful or harmful content through the forms. If you find a security problem, tell us at info@mediawiz.ai.
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.
Our portfolio
MediaWiz is a new studio. The pieces shown in our portfolio, case studies and posters are labelled Mock-Up Designs or Concept Designs: they were created in-house by MediaWiz as samples of what we can make, not for a client, and they do not describe results achieved for anyone.
We own the music, characters, designs and other material in them. You may not copy, reuse, resell or train models on that material without our written permission.
Quotes, scope and prices
Prices shown on this site are in US dollars (USD) and are indicative until a proposal is signed. A project or monthly package begins once the scope, deliverables, timeline and fees are agreed in writing. Work outside that scope is quoted separately.
Taxes, including HST/GST where they apply, are added to invoices unless stated otherwise.
Payment
Unless a proposal says otherwise, projects are invoiced in stages and monthly packages are invoiced in advance. Invoices fall due on the terms stated on them. We may pause delivery on overdue accounts. How a monthly package is changed or ended is set out in your proposal.
Revisions and approval
Each stage includes the number of revision rounds set out in the proposal. Approving a stage lets us move to the next one; changes requested after approval are treated as new work.
Your materials and approvals
You confirm that you have the right to give us any brand assets, footage, music, names or likenesses you supply, and that using them as briefed will not infringe anyone else’s rights. Delays in feedback or materials move the timeline accordingly.
AI-assisted production
We use AI tools as part of production. Where a synthetic character, voice or likeness appears in work for you, we will tell you, and we will label it where the law or a platform’s rules require. We will not create a real person’s likeness without their permission.
Ownership of your deliverables
On final payment, you own the deliverables we created specifically for you, as set out in the proposal. We keep ownership of our own tools, workflows and know-how. Unless you ask us not to, we may show finished work in our portfolio, and we will not name you without your permission.
Any third-party assets, such as fonts, stock or model licences, remain subject to their own terms.
Partner Access (white-label)
For agencies and freelance teams, we deliver under your brand and do not contact your clients or claim the work as ours, unless you agree otherwise in writing.
Liability
We deliver work with care but cannot promise a particular commercial result. To the extent the law allows, our liability on a project is limited to the fees paid for that project, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version on this page, with the date at the top, applies to your use of the site from that date. Signed proposals are not affected.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
